- I am thankful for the cool change in weather, it's refreshing after the heat and humidity.
- I am very thankful for the birds lately, just watching them, captivates me.
- I am thankful for early summer produce that is happening extra early this year.
- I am thankful for my menfolk, as always, they keep me going.
- I am thankful my gardens, I know not everyone gets gardening but when you do, it's such a peaceful, amazing hobby.
- I am thankful for tomatoes, oh there will be lots again this year.
- I am thankful for perspective, I know I use this one a lot, but I am truly thankful for it.
- I am thankful for all the lessons I am learning from daughterchild, I hope she learns them one day too.
- I am thankful for warm, cuddly HubbyMan on cool nights.
- And of course I am thankful for each of you, you are all so wonderful in your own ways and teach me so much, so thank you!
And I'm thankful for peonies, of course!

Ya know, I often think, lately, that Joey came into this life as our son to teach us lessons. Because through him we do learn a lot....some of the very hardest lessons of all that we've had to learn, too. And it was quite a sacrifice, on his part, because he's been doing a whole lot of struggling in his young life! It's not EASY being a person who is headstrong and always screwing things up! I think our kids have a harder time being the way they are, than we have dealing with the way they are....though it is a close contest!
