NOTE: I dont have anything against smokers. I dont really care. Everyone is allowed to make their own choice, and i chose not to. So don't think i'm sitting here hating on smokers...Continute....

As I was sitting at work the other day, i started to feel like i was the only person working the drive-threw (I work at a bank, FYI). And well, Where was my co-worker? No where to be found....Oh Wait! Was that her outside? Indeed it was. Am i allowed to go stand outside for 5-10 minutes at a time? Nooooo. Of course not! And it's not like we were slow or anything, we were slammed!!! *sigh* Nothing irritates me more. Not that i would ever do this, but if i were to go to the bank president and ask to get a break just to step outside and get some fresh-air or something, he would say no. "whats your reason to do that?!" Ugh. I kind of laugh at this. I think it's crappy, but i can't help but laugh a little. I guess i don't understand. what really starts to drive me nuts is when she does absolutely nothing, and demands she be able to take a smoke break like every 30 minutes. Whats the point in working? ahh! *Sigh*

Sorry bout it. i'm kind of ranting. i'm so sick of that place. it's a hell-hole. literally. It's not really enjoyable to go to a job everyday where you aren't appreciated, and your boss talks crap on every employee.There is no leadership in that place....NONE. I'm just hoping this new job works out. I'm going to try to get a job at the new coffee shop here in town. *crosses fingers* That would save my life!!!

ANYWAY...nothing really going on. i'm ready for spring break. So yea. Well, i'm outta here. Sorry this wasn't very exciting...What can i say? Heh. I'll be back sometime with a better one...when i have time again! Take it easy!!

There's nothing wrong with an occasional rant, especially one as valid as this. I never really thought of it like that, but it's a very good point. If us non-smokers took as many breaks as smokers do, to breath non-toxic air, we'd all get fired in a heartbeat. Anyway, good luck with the coffee shop thing. That sounds exciting.

Somkers shouldn't get special privilages to get so many breaks to smoke. It sucks that you get stuck with alot of work while she was outside smoking. I hope that coffee shop thing works out for ya.

kylie... hey..hang n there...i know things can look unfair at times...but remember God has placed u there for a reason..before u look to change jobs...maybe ask yourself.."have i accomplished what i was suppose to here?"...we are called to be light unto the darkness..salt unto the unflavored...the grass(jobs)can always look green elsewhere..but no one said it would be easy..just worth it.. cj
