Last night I got cold and went to turn the furnace up when I got to the thermostat I noticed it was colder than what the thermostat was set too. This has been happened all winter this year and I’ve had people out to fix it three times well now four. I couldn't’t sleep all night and all morning because I was freezing. The person who came out to fix it got here at 11:40 and didn’t leave til 1:30! She told me she replaced the circuit board that is the heart of the furnace. I was happy even though I was dead tired cuz I thought ok its gonna work properly now. I went to bed and woke up two hours later sweating and weak feeling. It was 85 degrees in the house. The furnace went from not coming on to never going off. I went to the thermostat and checked to see if somehow it was set to some crazy high temp but it wasn’t so I just shut it off via the thermostat but it never shut off. I was temped to just shut it off at the furnace but the first time I ever called these people the asshole who came out was like well its not doing anything now so I cant fix it on account of it running properly while he was here. I fucking told him what it was doing but I guess he wasn’t gonna do any sort of trouble shooting on it. Asshole. So the furnace ran and ran til a woman showed up and turned it off. She wasn’t the tech person though she just came to make sure there was no danger. I told her I kept it going cuz the first guy acted like if it wasn’t doing anything wrong when he was there he couldn’t do anything about it. She seemed to think that was wrong and against their policy but I couldn’t remember the pricks name it had been weeks. Anyways I have my window open and its fucking snowing out but I need it open to let some cooler air in and I am waiting for the tech person to show up and fucking fix this bitch. If it doesn’t get fixed I’m dropping this warranty program and getting with someone else.

its past midnight the fuckers never made it out! What was said to be a small snow storm has turned into a big one. its cold as fuck and so ill be up all fucking night going from sweltering heat to freezing my nuts off. Luckily we put a lot more insulation in the attic this fall and so the house holds heat WAYYY the fuck better than it did. Eh, maybe I can just use the space heater. I fucking hate the way it sounds and smells though and it drys the fucking air out so bad.
