soo life has been amazing lately.. i've been doing commercial masonry for nearly a month now, and i've absolutely looved it. its wicked hard work and often dangerous and exciiiiting. perfect for me. i need hard work and a bit of danger to maintain any level of interest. lately i've been working on two jobs; one is an addition to keene state college, and the other is an old folks home. both jobs are in keene, new hampshire, one of my faavorite places in the world. i love the scenery, the people, and the all around feeling you get from just being there. the entire city leaves me with a warm, cozy feeling. like snuggling up by a fire on a cold winter night, or comming home after a long trip...amazing speeaking of being warm and cozy and all that is perfect and amazing... kandace flew in lthis last weekend. she flew in on thursday night, right in the middle of an icestorm. what a welcome to massachusetts, huh?? comming from southern california to a very cold and borderline hypothermic massachusetts..craazy girl. to make matters even better, literally the second we got into my bedroom the power went out. not just the power in my room, but the power for aaall of massachusetts and much of the rest of the northeast. in any other situation, this would be an absolute disaster. in this case, it made for a peerfect weekend. we spent much of the weekend curled up in my bed, holding each other so close you couldn't slide a credit card between us. there was no heat in the upstairs of my house for most of the time, as there was noo electicity. i needn't get into detail, but trust that we had noooo problems staying warm. nooone. i just hope we weren't too loud :-X i could seriously go on about the weekend for ages, but i'll cut it short... to sum it up: i am absolutely in love with this girl. like craaazy do anything for give my life for this girl kind of love. this is the girl that i'll spend the rest of my days with. the girl i WILL marry, aand someday have children with. this is the kind of thing you only read about, only its actually happening... good things come to those who wait...
