I'm going to stop procrastinating and make some decsions/get organised. Christmas is coming around quickly (13 Saturdays to go people!) and I have a baby due that I need to be ready for. While I was burying my head in the sand and hoping it would all just work out I've realised I'm only getting more uncomforable and time is running out. Yesterday I got my Christmas list written up and thankfully its only short (I dont have any neices/nephews to buy for). Now all I need to do is get them -Hello online shopping! My Mum and SIL are getting these really cool Tupperware gadgets: speedy chef & turbo chef (I have one of these and LOVE it). My sister, I'm thinking I'll get her a gift voucher for a year of eyebrow waxes. Its probably the rudest thing to get someone, but she really has a big, thick eyebrow, and apart from shaving the bit above her nose, she doesnt do a great deal with to maintain it/them. I dont know how people can not maintain their eyebrows. In all honesty, I shave my legs once every... special occasion but my underarms/face I do atleast once a month. My eyebrows barely even need doing anymore. Hunter and Isabelle are getting a Cubby house and then a few little things for under the tree. For the baby, it will be getting a mobile for the cot (theres a store here that sells devistatingly beautiful ones) and um... thats probably it. Isabelles birthday is the 2nd of December and I'm toying between a wooden doll cradle or a miniature shopping trolley (eek, they're both so cute). My Mum is getting her an easel since she loves drawing/painting so much and other than that she needs clothes. Oh, and she's going to the Wiggles concert with Hunter and Brett. As for the birth/baby: I need some Summer maternity PJ's, post delivery grandma undies, travel toiletry pack and that about it I think. My girlfriend is trying to convince me to let her throw me a baby shower but I'm still unsure. Seeings as I dont know what I'm having it seems pointless to ask for gifts (and I dont want to be bogged down with greens/white/yellow suits if its a girl seeings as I dont need them) but dont want to be rude and ask for money. Kerry doesnt think this is a problem as I've never had a baby shower before and says that I could just have a registry and ask everyone to donate to the car seat or other bits and pieces that dont require a gender colour. Hmm... not sure. It would be fun though, the baby showers I've been to have been a blast, and what pregnant woman doesnt love all the food on offer? Have organised a photographer, she is an incredible photographer who is really really cheap (in comparison) and is available over Christmas for newborn shots. Off to get the kids ready for daycare and have my GD test - ugh.
