ryn: no, no formal "creative writing" training or education. i don't think it's something that could be taught anyway. if it appears as though i have some sort of skill at it, it's mostly from trial and error and my unfaltering belief that nothing i write is any good. also, i'm the kind of person who reads archaic dictionaries for fun. i like the language and need to purge sometimes, that's all.
