the family tree Thursday, May 03, 2007

So far, here's what I know about my family's medical history.

1. Diabetes. At least I think so, my mother used to ask at every physical I ever took whether I had diabetes or not. Just a bit odd.
2. Severe depression. Uncle shot himself in the head when his wife left. He lived. Poor bastard.
3. Cancer. Mother's mom and dad both have had their bouts. Father's mother did as well. Father's dad was murdered, so there's just no telling.
4. Alcoholism. Spoken of but never proven. Apparently rampant on my mother's side of the family. Maybe that's why there aren't any family reunions. They tell me I take after my mother...

Chances are, if my time line is long enough, I'll succumb to cancer, alcoholism or diabetes. Not neccessarily in that order.

Of course, you never really hear about the good things of the family history. All of them are intelligent hard working individuals.

The moral to this story: Die young.

Cheers!

Ok, so we start with reckless driving, we move up to resisting arrest, headlong through public endangerment, and ends up being the cops fault for arresting her. "Excessive use of force". WTF? For someone resisting arrest and acting hysterically? This is a joke, right? [Veneni]
