Love fills the pages of our lives with joy and laughter...
Mary Aris
If you could visit a place you've read about in a book, where would it be?
After reading the book, The Lantern, by Deborah Lawrenson, I really wanted to visit Provance. The author described the lavender fields and places in Provance very well, using rich descriptions. I really did enjoy this book and recommend it to anybody that likes suspense thrillers. When I was a little girl I was obsessed with the movie, The Wizard of Oz. I loved that movie. I also read the book. For the longest time since I was five up until I was ten I often wanted to go Over the Rainbow to an exotic land where Munchkins lived and travel to the Emerald City. Of course, I wouldn't want to cross my path with the Wicked Witch. I often wondered how it would feel like to live in Kansas as Dorothy Gale lived.....land of twisters and tornadoes. These three places which I read about in my favourite novels were places I longed to visit. Also, I fell in love with Romeo and Juliet when I read it in High School and imagined living in Verona or in an English cottage with a thached roof and a rose garden.
I am a down-to-earth, no-nonsense lady. I am happily married to my soul-mate.
