[0453] [12.21.07] [feeling: shaken and upset]
QUOTE OF THE DAY: none --An email I sent to a paranormal expert this morning. I'll post pictures of this later.
"I'm 21 years of age and I've been to this Magnetic Hill (my friends and I call it Ghost Hill) three times now. Around midnight this Friday morning was the last time I'll ever venture out there. I want to inform you of some interesting information I have gathered over three trips in the last eight months. The first visit was between March and April of 2007, the second visit was between August and September, and the final visit was December 21. In the first visit, there were three of us: two friends and myself went out there to test the theory. In the second visit there were five of us. The original three and two newbies. The story I have been told is that three teenagers got drunk and went driving out in the country. They didn't know the road so they were speeding down it. When they saw that the road curved, they were unable to stop and hit the tree and split it in half. All three teens perished in the accidend. (Try as I might, I cannot pull up any viable information on this.)
In our first visit, we took a Buick Century ('98 model, I believe) out. We took it to the bottom of the hill...only a few yards from the street sign and lamp post that are there now. The light was on and there were no cows in the pasture. We went out around midnight that night...we got off worrk at 11 and drove from Norman. My friend put the car in neutral and turned it off. Within a second or two, the car was rolling backwards, gradually picking up speed. We topped about 30 mph. Once the car began to slow down, we turned it on and tried it again. The second time going backwards, the car went somewhat faster and we also heard the sound of boots running in time with the car. We also had zero cell phone reception from two different carriers. That was only the first visit.
During our second visit, we took two additional people in a Pontiac Grand AM, I believe...it was my boss's car. We did the same thing. We went to the bottom of the hill...no cows and the light on the lamp post was on. Neutral...engine off...car started to roll backwards, gradually getting faster. We only did it once, seeing as my boss was driving and was scared. She had refused to believe our story. Again, zero cell phone reception from three different carriers.
The third, and final, time for me to venture out ended much differntly. This time, there were cows in the pasture to the east and the light was not on. Again, car in neutral, engine off. This time we took a Jeep Grand Cherokee. (It's said that the teens were in a bedded truck of some sorts when they died.) About a second after turning off the car, it flew backwards. It wasn't gradual...it was instant speed. It was very difficult to control and even with my foot pressing the brake pedal to the floor, the Jeep continued to careen out of control. We ended up hitting the fence and damaging my car quite a bit. One of the steel rods got stuck in my bumper and bent backwards into my radiator. I am getting it repared tomorrow. Aside from that, this is no ordinary "Magnetic" Hill. We had cell phone reception from two different carriers.
This may be unbelievable...as the OHP officer who came to help us thought I was kidding until he saw the damage done to my car. My friend took pictures of the fence damage and tomorrow, when the sun is up, I will be taking pictures of my car before taking it into the shop. As soon as I have access to those pictures, I will be emailing them to you. I am glad I found your story on this. It took hours of research. I'm glad to see that there are more who have experienced it. Unfortunately, I have never been out there during the daylight hours and cannot say if the experience is different. I do NOT suggest going out there alone or if any of my conditions are present.
If anyone ventures out there, heed my warnings as they are a lesson very well learned: 1) If there are cows mooing to your side, don't continue. 2) If there is no light at the end of the road but your head lights, don't continue. These mainly apply to doing it during the dark hours, as I, again, am not sure if the sunlight hours cause a different effect.
There is no rational explanation for what my friends and I experienced tonight. I shouldn't have lost control of my vehicle, we shouldn't have been going that fast if it's just a "magnetic" happening.
Thank you for taking the time to read this."
This shit is FOR REAL! I SERIOUSLY do NOT suggest this. The damage done to my new car is going to hurt me for months to come. I'll get pictures ASAP
