This morning I'm going to fix pancakes for breakfast. Ace is away to work for half the day so I think I'll take the kids to the park after breakfast.

After this week I am free to get a job which is wonderful because I'm starting to go a bit mad. My mom told me that when Honey and I were younger we all lived out in the middle of nowhere. Dad worked 12 hours a day and Mom had to stay at home with us girls and keep all of us entertained. I'm surprised she never went crazy or tried drowning us in the bathtub.

Sissy talks a lot for only being 3 years old. She's also nearly as tall as her 5 year old brother and weighs 2 pounds more than he does. She's constantly messing with her hair and putting on lipgloss or lipstick. She puts her lipstick on better than I do and that's really scary. She's going to be trouble when she gets older.

Finney remembers everything. That's good when I'm teaching him the capital cities of the US. It's not so good when I've promised him I'll play tag with him and no longer have the energy.

Well I'd better get a shower in before those little terrors wake up.
