****IT'S A BOY!!!!!****
In the words of one of my favorite favorites…I think it’s time I dusted off this old thing and gave you all an update!! When I wrote my last entry I was going to “attempt” to do the unsent letters and I failed miserably. I also was going to be telling my in-laws and Emma about us being pregnant that weekend. Naturally, the news was a HIT. Everyone in the family is THRILLED…especially Emma. She is at such a fun age and she really “gets” what is happening! She constantly loves on my belly and gives “her baby” hugs and kisses. She kept saying she wanted a baby “stister” and now she says she thinks it’s a baby “brudder.” WE WILL KNOW TOMORROW!!! My appointment to find out is at 11:00!! Emma and I are going to make a day of it. We’re sleeping in, then going to my appointment (Terry’ll meet us there), out to lunch, home for a nap and then she and I are going to get pedicures! So fun!
At my last appointment the baby’s heart rate was in the low 140’s, I’ve been craving sweets, I’ve only gained 4 pounds (all in the belly), I’m carrying lower than I did with Emma…
Sooooooo, who wants to take a stab at guessing the gender?? Your guess will be as “educated” as mine because I have NO IDEA. I thought for sure I’d know like I did with Emma, but I’m seriously clueless this time. I have no “gut” feeling and it floors me because I KNEW with Emma. So, what do you think?
Oh! And to those of you who are friends with me on Facebook…I’ll FINALLY announce tomorrow on there that we’re pregnant! The only people who know are y’all, my family, best friends and co-workers…everyone else will be like WHAT?! LOL! I can’t wait! I’m not really sure why we’ve been so hush hush about it, but either way it’ll be fun to tell everyone “Emma’s gonna be a big sister! We’re 20 weeks pregnant and It’s a _______!” all at once. LOL!
