First, I just want to thank the people that wrote me notes.  I didn't think anyone would actually read this much less respond to it.  So thanks for encouraging me to continue.

My friend Nicole responded to my email a few days ago.  She wrote that she was just trying to make a suggestion because she didn't think it was safe for everyone to drive home afterwards.  She said she would respond to my other comments later.  So today I got some more emails from her saying that she wasn't mad and she understands why I was angry.  She said that her problems with her boyfriend happened a long time ago and shouldn't have been brought into the conversation.  Anyhow, she decided that she is going to come to the party and she's even bringing booze and appetizers.  I apologized and told her I was just angry.  So everything is ok now.  I shouldn't have attacked her like that.

We got hit with a lot of snow last night!!  I actually braved the storm to go out and get my nails done at the mall.  I knew nobody would be there.  I'm disappointed though cuz I paid $32.00 and they did a bad job.  This is the first time I've had my nails done in like 3 years.  I didn't even have them done for my wedding.  But tonight is Mike's company Christmas party and I wanted to do something nice for myself.

I can't believe an airplane actually ended up in the street at Midway airport last night.  Those poor people in the cars probably didn't know what hit them.  I would definitely sue the airport.  They shouldn't have had any planes landing last night.  A six year old boy lost his life last night.  My daughter is six.  That's so terrible.  My condolences to his family.

I called into work last night and my manager wasn't too happy about it.  But it took Mike an hour and twenty minutes to get home so I would have been two hours late anyway.  There's no way I'm driving in all that snow with a spare tire on my car.  I'm waiting until after Christmas to buy tires.

I'm looking forward to the party tonight.  It's at Tuscany's and I really like the people Mike works with.  It should be fun.

I'm having issues with my parents about Christmas presents for my kids.   Last year they out did me with their gifts by buying my daughter a portable dvd player.  Now this year they want to buy Sarah a  Real Meal Oven which is intended for children aged 8 and up.  They asked me if it was ok if they got it for her and I said no, then they asked Mike and he said no.  Then my dad told Mike he would just buy it and keep it at his house for her.  That's fine, I guess he'll be the one playing with it because if he can't play by my rules then Sarah won't be going over there anymore.  I'm tired of fighting with them and I don't have the money to compete with them.  I think they forgot what Christmas is truly about.  Last year my Mom told me that if it weren't for her Sarah wouldn't have a nice Christmas and that is not true.  We do everything we can to make sure our kids have nice things, but we also want them to remember that Christmas is not about getting toys.  I'm tired of their crap, everytime I think I'm making progress with them they slap me in the face with something.  Their lives revolve around my children so much that's its disgusting.  I understand that they love their grandchildren but enough is enough already.

That's all for now.

Ciao.
