My brother and his girlfriend had their first baby this morning. Ava Rose was born by c-section at 7:50am weighing in at 6 pounds 9 ounces and 20" long.

They had a planned c-section because the baby wouldn't turn and they didn't want to wait until she does, or she went into labor since they live an hr away from the hospital so it was the best choice for them.

I'm so happy for them, my brother was thrilled to find out he was going to be a dad and I know he'll do great, even though he is very.... um how can I put this .... 'blonde' like. lol

Yesterday my mom calls him to ask if they have a high chair since she wanted to buy them one. He says he didn't know. Then she asked him if they have a changing table. He says he doesn't know, all he knew is that he put something together but wasn't sure what it was. Then she asked him if the cradle was by the bed, he said he guessed so. I fear for Ava, lol. Her father isn't the brightest, but he'll learn on the way. :)

Tomorrow I might go down and meet little Ava, I hope so. I want to take pics with my moms camera and upload them onto my computer so I can show everyone the new addition to the family!!!

I found a new website: couponmom.com it's awesome. Most of the tricks they mention to save money I knew already when we were living on $175 a week (that's for everything we needed) but I can print coupons off the internet and from the sunday papers. Thought I would share.
