Ah, today is the perfect day. Everyone is up and raring to go. So we might as well get started.
On the list today: chopping wood, splitting wood, and getting some for kindling.
 I will go in the garden and get some of the crops ready to be canned.
I have a couple sewing projects for around the house to be done. This one will be for me.
Laundry...not as glamorous, but must be done.
Working on the root cellar. Needs some more support for the walls. We have been hoping it would last a bit longer, but don't want to take the chance it collapses in winter and all our food gets ruined.
And if I have time....I will make myself a new skirt....for me.
