I am the only member of my club at school. It's pretty lonley. It's the Pride Alliance Club. I don't know if people aren't aware of the club or aren't interested or just don't really care about involvement. Whichever way it is, I'm the entire club. I have been trying to brainstorm way to raise participation but not much really comes to mind. I did finally find information on the up comming ammendment that will be on the ballot Nov. 7th. It doesn't mention gay or homosexual anything but I did find out that not only will it prevent gay marriage but it will also strip the rights from long term live in (gay or srtaight) partners. These couples are considered common law, or domestic partnerships right now and they really benifit from current legislation. I think thats part of the amendment most people don't know about. People are so focused on the gay issue that they much have forgotten to actually read the fucking resolution. Thats the general public and politics though. It's my last day of school for the week and I think I might try to find a job. Just a couple days a week but something. I think it will make Damon feel better if I do. School it priority number one though. It's also homecomming for the university this weekend. It should bring out all of the weirdos. It usually does. People will be wandering Water St. more drunk then usual and we'll have to hear the drunken people later than usual and it will probably be pretty annoying. Not that I don't like homecomming and all of that, it's pretty cool for those who get involved or whatever but it's hard on those who don't. My little sister will be participating in all of the activities, she likes that stuff. And good for her, she's always had a hard time finding stuff she likes. I told her if she drinks too much downtown to walk over and we'll give her a ride home. A perk of living right on the main drag.... drunk people. We do have total access to all the cool bars though. That's good for Damon scince we don't have cable and he likes to watch the Packer games.
Wish me luck
Peace, MEGG
