Next Time... The Time Warrior

One of the interesting sub genres of fan made Doctor Who videos on YouTube is the "Next Time" trailer done for the classic adventures. Some of them are pretty good, some are bad, some make slow stories look exciting, whilst others make exciting stories look boring.

But either way there's a whole mix of the them out there. I tend to judge them purely as trailers and even though it's all being done with hindsight, I think the best ones are the ones that don't spoil all the stories twists and surprises. This one from the 1974 adventure 'The Time Warrior', for instance does nothing to keep the Sontaran a mystery, thus if it really were to serve as a trailer for this show for somebody who'd never seen it, the viewer will now know what the villain looks like under the helmet.

Anyway I've chosen this story because it's Sarah Jane's first meeting with the Doctor, and so I think it's a link with her recent appearance in the new series episode 'School Reunion'
