So for those of you who are just tuning in - I met up with this guy I met on Match.com this afternoon.
It went really well! :) We started at Starbucks and played the card game Rummy while conversing. He paid for my coffee like a gentlemen even though I had planned to cover my own drink. It was really sweet of him. Then my game started slacking because I was so hungry! So we decided to drive over to Figaro's and have a couple beers with chips and Guacamole! Mm my favorite. The game continued there...only through like 2 plays though (if that) because we got busy talking. Which is fine! I had a really nice time and it wasn't awkward or anything. He is very intellectually stimulating to me which is hard to find nowadays! He's smart, and very observant, which is a plus. Also, he listens. I felt like 1) I wasn't talking to a brick wall & 2) It wasn't going in one ear and out the other. I felt like he really let my words absorb. It was a nice feeling. We had this talk about religion, too. Usually I won't bring up religion with people, especially people I just meet. Only because people can get upset over it, or offended by the question etc. But, this is a guy who has God in his life. Really has God in his life, but isn't an extremist like my parents by any means. It's just the right amount and I really enjoy his views on religion. In my opinion, that was a great conversation. Aside from all of that, what all you readers are probably wanting to know is how he looks physically. If you were to ask me what my type was physically; it would be him in a nutshell. Tall, healthy (fit), dark features, and nice teeth. I am a huge teeth/smile person. He carries himself very well. I am interested to see where this goes, and I'd definitely like to hangout with him again. Now I am at home getting ready for my clients tomorrow. It's a whole new week so I need to set up a whole new set of workouts. Easy Peasy! Also, I told my sister I would teach her how to play checkers. So, I will be doing that shortly. :) All in all, it's been a nice weekend. I hope you all have had a great weekend and Happy Father's day to all the dad's out there on OD :) Now I am off to wash my face, brush my teeth, take my contacts out, pull the hair back in a pony and I am ready to relax for the night!
