Mainly this is about my friends. Before you read the anything else, I suggest you read this. It is kind of an explanation of my friends and how our friendship got started/the different things we do...blah blah blah. Just so you understand things that I say later on. Feel free to refer back to this at any time that you get confused. I have five best friends. I couldn't choose between these friends if my life depended on it. They are (in no particular order) Falyn, Amanda, Taylor, Kayla, and Zac. Falyn is by far the loudest, funniest, silliest friend I have. (But Kayla and Zac are giving her a run for her money.) Falyn and I met in Mr. Shuman's class in the 6th grade, but we really got to know each other in the 7th grade in Ms. Allen's class. We were in drama together, and we spent all our time together. The day we became best friends, we had a LOC (Lunch Off Campus) at school, and her grandmother picked us up and we went to her house. This was the first time we had spent the night together, and I was super excited. We got inside and were just messing around and we decided we were going to have tuna fish sandwiches and potato salad. Falyn was carefully picking the pickles out of her potato salad and tuna and I was just laughing. She kept explaining that she didn't like pickles and therefore had to pick them out. So, she gets the other plate down asks me "Do you like pickles?" I told her yes and she takes the potato salad and just slams it on my plate. We both bust out laughing, and that is how we became best friends. So we love to joke around saying "Yeah our best friendship started over potato salad and tuna fish." Falyn and I have what we like to call our "Heart-to-hearts" where we spend the night with each other, eat ice cream, listen to love songs, and just spill everything that is on our hearts. Amanda and I have an interesting friendship. We both have the same taste in music, and the same dry humor. Amanda got into Mr. Shuman's class when she was in the 6th grade (I was in the 7th) and we both didn't mind each other, but we weren't really friends. That summer we decided that we were going to go to Cameron University Speech Camp, and we roomed together, since we wanted to room with people we knew. We got up there and spent every waking moment together, and we became best friends that summer. A month later we went to a Green Day concert, and we have been inseperable since. We love to go to concerts together. We've been to: Green Day (Jimmy Eat World), Fall Out Boy (Hawthorne Heights, The All-American Rejects, The Hush Sound, From First To Last), 30 Seconds to Mars/The Used (Saosin, Chiodos, Aiden), and this Saturday we are going to the True Colors tour to see The Dresdon Dolls. Amanda lost her dad about a year and half ago, and she was diagnosed with Anorexia last summer. She has gained quite a big of weight since then, but still needs to gain more. She is beautiful though. I love her so much. Amanda is an athiest, and I used to be one as well. Now, Taylor. Taylor and I knew each other in Middle School, but it wasn't until our Freshman year that we really became best friends. Up until the Freshman year I was an athiest and no one could change my mind. Taylor invited me on to a bonfire with a bunch of people, and she just happened to leave out the fact that it was with her church. I ended up crying by the end of the night, when I just KNEW God was real. It was the most amazing experience of my life. Taylor and I do just about everything together, now. We go to the same church, we're both in band, we're in the same classes, and we spend a lot of time going to get coffee and just chasing around. I thank God for Taylor, because without her...I don't know what would have become of me. Kayla. Oh dear, my Kayla. I don't really know what "story" I have for me and Kayla. We were in Science together my Freshman year (her Sophmore year...she had already taken Biology at her old school) and we just kind of connected. Then, by the end of the year, I had decided that I was going to be in band, and she was getting her license soon. We talked about going to the city sometime, but she ended up giving my rides to the Fireworks Warehouse so that I could help the Band Boosters make money. It just kind of happened. Fate. Kayla and I go work out together, and we have shared some things with each other that no one else knows about us. She is truly a great friend. And a wondeful buth buddy! (Bus buddy said with lisp.) Zac. Wow...Zac. Zac and I met on a soccer team when I was in the fifth grade, he was in the sixth. He was my best friend on that team, but I truly did love everyone there. After that, Zac and I didn't see each other all Spring and Summer, but we saw each other when I was in the sixth grade. We were both in Drama, and we just took a liking to each other. The second summer that Amanda and I went to Cameron University Speech Camp, he and Tim alo went and shared a room. He was going to ask me out that week (he told me this year), but he chickened out and never did. But, that year we weren't as close because he went to high school, and I thought I would never get to spend time with him again. But my Freshman year, we spent so much time together and that's when I realized that I was in love with my best friend. Here I am the summer before my Junior year, and yesterday we were talking about going to the same college and sharing an apartment. There is nothing I want more in this world than to be with Zac the rest of my life, but I don't know what God has planned. Zac likes me, but he doesn't want to "Ruin the friendship" so, I can wait. If it is meant to happen, it will happen. So, there you are. My best friends. Each with their own story, but the same with the amount I love them.
