For you tl;dr people, some of the highlights (so to speak) are thus: From a young age, McCain has had a horrible temper. He was known as "McNasty" and one former classmate of his described him as a "mean little fucker".

While in the Navy, he wrecked THREE AIRPLANES out of sheer incompetence and carelessness; one of which was when he flew into some power lines in Spain and knocked out power for the grid. Normally you'd get heavily demoted if not outright kicked out of the military for pulling stunts like that, but he faced no penalties thanks to his family connections.

When a destroyer that he was on was almost obliterated by bombs, he opted to run into the ready room and hide rather than help to save the ship. When he came home from Vietnam, he used his family connections and his acquaintanceship with the Reagans to get naval positions that he was in no way or shape qualified for.

He womanized and slept around so much that even rabbits would have to look at him in awe. He cheated on wife (and possibly his current wife as well) left and right -- and this is supposed to be a "values candidate"? To this day, Nancy Reagan refuses to speak to him due to how badly he betrayed his first wife.

And let us not forget the Keating Five, where McCain championed deregulation and skewed the regulatory boards in order to let Charles Keating's shady dealings go under the radar -- all in exchange for some nice hefty campaign donations. American taxpayers ended up footing the bill when S&L collapsed.

I understand conservatives, but I don't understand anyone who still supports McCain/Palin. Palin's frighteningly idiotic, shockingly callous, and nigh-Dominionist foibles are well-documented, as are McCain's temper tantrums and willingness to suck dick to get ahead. (Not to mention the fact that he co-opted Obama's "change" campaign yet has stated that he agrees with Bush on 90% of his policies. Take a look at the last eight years and ask yourself if you really want to repeat that mishegoss.)

If you still support McCain/Palin then I WILL look down on you, because that means that you're an idiot, you're a blind follower, and you're not a real conservative.
