-Amanda is ill - Mommy hugs ya- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For a few days we were not feeling that well over here. The season of illness has started its way again into my family. One complete package of illness with flu, fever, sinuses & allergy. I had few of those needed medication ordered online and reached home within 24 hrs. I do not have the time to go off to the pharmacy and neither can I drive away to buy those things because we are all extremely ill. And my Andrew went travelling up to Switzerland and coming home again this Sunday. So, at the time being I am on my own alone with my cousin here. My mother-in-law cannot be bothered as I do not want to disturb her and anyway this is my family and I do however I can whenever I can. It is anyway my responsibility. This time the illness seems to be terribly heavy and mostly Amanda and Mike had it bad - really, really bad. The allergy they got from certain flowers and pollen are known since the beginning and medication are ready on the shelf! Not a good time for us tho'. So, I had certain flowers has to be dug out from the garden and it helps much to have shorter grasses too. We cut and we mowed it away the last weekend, but we need to do this as often as possible to prevent some of those unwanted wild flowers to appear and grow. This is plainly irritating though. I mean not the mowing part - but the part that my kids have allergy and we have to be careful when we are up into the forest or walking in the fields. I have to pack the medicine so that they can the least breathe well without sneezing terribly - or having strange red spots appearing on their faces and body. Now, they are all in bed - except for me and Miya who is busy doing her school work under the apple trees with her best friend. They are eating some grapes and laughing all the time. Ah, the least they are fit, healthy and happy - their laughter sounds lovely in my ears. As for me I am at the back porch and writing my diary, drinking my medical tea - and resting while watching this lovely sunny day. Not really warm, but it is comfortably cool after the rain yesterday. Gladly, that the garden is dry quickly. So, no worry of mopping away some mud tracks anywhere! My Amanda had it worse and her eyes were totally red and tears running down her cheeks all the time. It annoys her simply and plus that her long eyelashes makes it terribly itchy! She rubs her eyes all the time and she lies down in her little hammock which Andrew hung on the porch. She loves her hammock and these days she take her nap outside when it is not too cold. Now, I am off to make myself another tea and take one bottle of mineral water too. My throat is dry and scratchy - need to rest now and read my book. Hope this illness will be away soon because illness brings only tears and pain! Ugghhh! Happy Weekend then!
