***Well I am back from another trip to Woodstock Halloween. We had a great time. We left on Friday morning at about 5am. My brother and his girlfriend Mandy came with Chucky and I this time. We got in at about 11...it was an all over uneventful trip. We did alot of shopping and preparing the night we got down there. Halloween afternoon was the big parade in Woodstock same as last year. There was alot of great costumes but not as many original ones as last year I dont think alot of them had to do with the swine flu. There was at least three or four people dressed up as swine flu or as H1N1 which I know is the same thing but a totally different costume. We didnt spend all that much time at the parade because alas it was piss pouring raining. But Mandy loved seeing Woodstock and all of the crazy hippies that live in it. We only stayed for about an hour then came home took a quick nap and got back up to get ready AGAIN to go the bar. The bar was pretty good. It was an hour from my mom's house. It is called PRIMETIME and it is in Highland, NY. It is a gay bar. They played that typical gay bar music which was good at first but you cant really dance to it then at the end of the night they played all like house and techno music without even any word just that boom boom beat. They had a costume contest too. I will post all the pics at the end of the entry. Mandy is only 19 so she wasnt allowed to drink but she was allowed in but I got here completely hammered anyways. We had to get her loosened up somehow. LOL! My mom said I got her too drunk but oh well she had a frieken blast. My brother not so much. Even though we were raised by a gay man and a lesbian he still feels like an outcast in gay bars and has a problem interacting with those typical gay guys who act really gay. He doesnt judge them or anything he is completely accepting they just get on his nerves. He believes that you are born gay and that is fine but you acquire that typical gay stereotype. We came back last night but I told work that we arent coming back until today because I called in and told them I was stuck at Mom's for car troubles this way I get five days away from that hell hole instead of only three. I am not having car trouble, knock on wood! But I do have to drive Chucky to work today and probablly do some work down at my old house and visit with my grandparents. I just need a longer break from work who could blame a girl? The only really eventful part of the trip came on mine and Chucky's way home after we had dropped Mandy off and then Ben off. WE HIT A DEER! There was five of them standing right in the middle of the road I slammed on the breaks as hard as I could but it still ran into the left side of my bumper anyways. There was no dent or anything thank God but I was shaking like a leaf. But hitting a deer around here is nothing out of the ordinary sometimes cows and deers are your closest neighbors for miles! LOL! Well I guess that is about all I have to write so I wont make this a terribly long entry cause I want to post a bunch of pics from Woodstock Halloween...more later. *A*
