This weekend was very busy, looks like this week will be the same.

We cooked out at our house on Friday, Steaks... potatoes, salad.. you know the good stuff.  Had wine... too much wine... whew.. I was trying to stay up with Mrs. M, but she has a few years practice...lol  She is 64. 

Went to my brothers and hung out Saturday, had forgotten about the conversations (blacked out would be my guess) we had with him and his wife.  Seems we were to spend the night at their place after the race and just hang out on Sunday.  That's cool though, we did.  lol  Also forgot about the conversation pertaining to going to New Orleans in a few weeks, while my brothers job takes him there.  We are all supposed to go down there and do some deep sea fishing.  I have been before and it was great fun. 

Wednesday we are supposed to have dinner at my place, the folks, brothers and wife to #1 brother.  And then my oldest daughter will be there with her hubby and kids.

We plan on a simple meal.  Pintos, cornbread, and potatoe pancakes.  Yummmmmy.  Yes, I live in the south and we all love comfort food.

Then on Thursday #1 brother is having a bon fire at his place.  There will be drinking and merriment I am sure.. but I am going to have to be a good girl because I have to work the next day.. as does my supervisor-which also happens to be one of my best friends... lol.. She is invited also.  My family adores her.  She is crazy fun.

My tummy is still trying to recoup from this weekend. I truly think I need to get some of those digestion enzyme tablets.  My system is so slow.. and well its just uncomfortable.  Yeah I know.. too much info. lol

The hubby is working from home today... I guess we are adjusting to the twist and turns of his store not working out... Of his trying to work from home.  I am not happy about this and he knows it.  I also infomred him today that once he has some sales go thru that the book keeping will be my job because, 1. he doesn't have access to the account, and 2. He hates trying to keep money organized.  I have had several jobs in my career with book keeping and accounting and have no problem separating out money into categories.  Such as Sales/Commission/Shipping.  This way he can't say we don't have enough to ship this persons package, so we have to wait.  No, no, no... this is my name on the account and I will not have my name tarnished due to his poor records keeping.  The money will be placed into accounts and they will be kept separate.  It takes more time but at least I will know where everything is.
