I decided to push myself a little yesterday. Bike to work and back (the ammended edition).
I left my car at a park and ride lot and followed the 10 odd miles of trail to work. I was feeling pretty jazzed when I got to work, made the day go faster and seemingly less drudge-tacular. End of the day, I hopped back on the pedal-powered beastie and had at it again, this time with more uphill.
Needless to say, the exertion left me pretty hungry. Rolled on up to the pizza hut craving pasta, ended up tearing through their buffet with the speed and ferocity of a crazed lion. Canadian Bacon + Pineapple, Sausage + Jalapeno. Pizzas of the kings. And I made that restaurant regret the term "all you can eat". Oh yeah.
And my car insurance bill came... From 600 to around 500 to just over 300... That is the reward of being a relatively sane individual in regards to driving... or more specifically, NOT driving like a madman.
