Well, here we are in in lovely Louisville, Kentucky.  As I type this entry, Stinky is hiding under the bed in our super comfortable room at the Holiday Inn.

The day went by so quickly, i can hardly believe we've come this far already.  I was up most of the night cleaning the house and this morning I called Larry (the landlord), to let him know I would be ready for him to come and inspect the house in a couple of hours.  Three hours later, I called again and let him know Stinky and I would be waiting for him in the truck. Long story short, three calls and three more hours later, he called to appologize for not being there.  It seems he had car trouble, but it was sorted out and we finally met up.

The inspection only lasted about 10 minutes.  Next came the fond farewells, then Stinky and I were on our way.  Louisville is less than 200 miles from Huntington, but after all the packing and cleaning, I am pretty tired, so now I'm kicked back on a sweet king-sized bed with 6, count them, SIX big fluffy pillows.  I could get used to this.

We'll be back on the road early tomorrow.  I'm not sure how far we'll get, but I'm hoping to make it to St. Louis before we crash again.

I hope I can get him out from under the bed before breakfast.  :)
