We have a full day ahead. I only say it because we are going to a memorial service for our cousin. She is shown here riding shotgun in one of their cars. She did enjoy parades. She will be missed. To sum it up in four words... "She was a pisser!"

On another note, today is also a day of celebration. So here is the marching band. All stand up and cheer! Start the celebration!

For today marks the 25th year since my last one of these. Saints be praised! Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that was possible or that there was life without booze, bottled or freeze dried. Here is to the next 25.

My respects to your cousin.
Thanks for being an inspiration to me, just as Georgette is. Long-timers are so needed by newcomers in sobriety. THANK YOU. You make me feel when there is no hope there ARE possibilities.
And thank you for the job info. I certainly appreciate it. So much to do here to get organized. [cricket_factor]

Happy Happy Birthday! I remember well sitting in meetings early in sobriety and hearing someone say "I have been sober for 20 years," (or even 3 years at times) Amazed and wondering about the possibility I might someday be able to say I had been sober more than a few months... Wildest dreams indeed! I have seen dreams I would not have the ba**s to dream come true! Oh congratulations! Perhaps in another entry you would like to share what it was like, what happened, and so on...?
RYN: Pain in the butt indeed!! Hub had more CLASS than to use that one! Class? Or imagination?! Stifle yourself you fool! and stop laughing! [seedys]

RYN: Yes, this is why Hub diagnoses the problem before he starts ordering parts and changing them out... You know as well as anyone that with an ohm-meter, wiring diagrams, etc., plus plenty of time and patience, it is possible to find the problem, then fix it. Course throwing in 40+ years of experience helps too. [seedys]
