Sunshine! Sunday, May 27, 2012

It has been the most glorius couple of days! The sun has been beaming and beautiful and it just makes life that little bit easier I always think.

Although this week I've been suffering with my shoulder. For about a year and a half now I've been having symptoms of carpal tunnel in my right wrist. It started with losing control at times with my hand and severe pain mostly in an evening or in the middle of the night, deep in my wrist and thumb. It has got considerably worse and the pain now spreads like fire to my elbow and there is no relief. My Mum also suffered the syndrome when she was a few years older than me and had to have operations in both wrists so she confirmed what I was feeling.

I'm a big baby and scared to go to the docs because they begin with a course of cortisone injections which have to be inserted into the joint before resulting to surgery and the thought of that makes me want to cry. My Mum had to have then 2-3 times a year in her shoulder. And guess what. My shoulder has begun. It came on so suddenly but the pain was continuous with no let up and by the third night of being unable to sleep I just sat crying not knowing what to do.

I researched it and tendonitis is linked with carpal tunnel so I figure that's what is happening. I took some anti inflammatories and ice packed for 5 times a day and thankfully the pain is considerably less and it seems to have eased completely the last two days so fingers crossed! But inevitably it will flare up again and I should just suck it up and go to the doctors!

Annie celebrated her 2nd birthday on Friday!! Yey! I first went to see her and chose her at 4 weeks old, then had to wait 6 weeks to be able to take her home with me. I remember walking into a room that was full from skirting board to picture rail with Pug pictures, plates, hangings, ornaments etc. Two little pens with two seperate litter of puppies in them sat like treasure chests. One pen had 6 rather energetic puppies who were around 8 weeks old, apricot coloured and gorgeous! Then in a smaller pen three pudding pugs, 4 weeks old, fawn with black faces and curly tails. The two boys were tumbling over eachother with greed trying to get to me and the edge of the cage, and their sister sat quietly her the dog bed, sad expression, tongue out. Her big brown eyes caught mine and i feel in love forever right then.

The day I chose her. Note the pug ornaments!

First Halloween. Tongues out.

Playing hide and seek. A less wrinkled pup.

First christmas!

And finally at two years old! Still the best present I ever got! She was without a doubt born for me.

So friday Craig had the day off so we had a really relaxed day. As well as Annie Pugs b-day it was also his Auntie Julia's birthday and his Grandma's Birthday!

So we went for a few drinks with Julia first, then met his Grandma and his Dad's family for a meal at tea time. It was lovely and his Grandma who turned 77 and is mad as a hatter is so lovely and crazy lol.

We returned home and put on our sweats and took the dogs out for a walk in the park whilst the sun was still out.

Saturday morning i had work and then came home and me and craig went to Peach and Karls for the evening and the lads watched football whilst we played with Beaubly. I absolutely love his little face so much. Then today we were lazy all day and lounged in the garden with the dogs! Perfect!

So i have a few photos to share...Enjoy!

Pooped after her birthday!

Beau being a player! This is Florence, Keri's baby and my best friend Lou's niece. How beautiful are they both? We only make seriously cute babies!

This was Rosie hiding under the throws when i wanted to check her nails lol.

By the time i washed my make up off and brushed my teeth and hair before bed Annie was already asleep. So when i had to move the covers and disturb her, this was the absolute stink eye i got! That face of fury!

My beautiful, girly, gorgeous bed sheets! I love them. Craig hasn't moaned yet so yey!

This was the horrid weather only last week when i was relaxing on the bed with a book.

Craig being an absolute baby whilst watching 24 hours in A&E. He is squimish. Note the slippers!

Annie giving hugs to Rosie. lol Rosie then ran away being a grumpus.

Annie getting a little excited during 101 Dalmatians.

Annie with a bindi. lol
