Seeing the light Thursday, March 04, 2010

Yesterday wasn't a great day. I went out for lunch with my mum and nan and just felt so detatched. By the time hubby came home I had had a little cry but I wasn't as bad as I have been. This morning, however, I was fine. Still fragile but I could kind of see the light at the end of this horrible, dark tunnel i've been in. This afternoon I kind of feel like I need to get out and I do need to get a couple of things from the shop but India doesn't want to go out anywhere. I'll just have to drag her, lol. I really hope this is the start of getting back to my normal self and things only get better.

We had Indias parents meeting this morning. Hubby went into work late so he could come too, which was nice. The teacher said she's doing brilliantly, very well behaved, coming out of her shell and able to talk in front of groups of people more, advanced at her letters, sounds, putting them together to make words, numbers, adding and subtracting. I told her the story India told me about how she'd egged on her little friend to take a pocket full of sand home and then chickened out herself incase the teachers caught her. She found that really funny and told me how they can't have play money at nursery as all the kids nick it, lol, even money they make themselves out of card. The youth of today, lol!

Tomorrow should be easy to keep myself relatively busy. I'll probably use the treadmill in the morning and do a bit of housework (been finding it so hard to motivate myself to do the housework at the moment), then when i've picked India up we'll be going out with a friend and India's best friend, then India has yoga. Then hubbys out in the evening. His plans of getting lifts there and back didn't work out in the end so he's taking the car to my parents, getting a lift into town and not getting too drunk so he can get up early to drive home in time for India to get to ballet saturday morning.

I was supposed to be going to the cinema tonight but my friends little boy is poorly so doubt it will be happening now. :( Oh well, can't be helped.

Ugh, the cat just threw up in the aquabeads box! Good thing kiddos sensible enough to look away otherwise i'd have two lots of sick to clean up.

I'm really glad things are starting to feel better. Yoga for children sounds brilliant! [eurostar] 3/4/2010 2:31:40 PM
Thank you for your note! I really appreciate it. I am so sorry for your loss and I will keep you in my prayers. I hope that you feel better soon and can get back to yourself. I love your little girl's name! So pretty and unique. Hope you have a great weekend. :o) [.brandi.] 3/5/2010 12:09:06 AM
