M's fact of the day: "It's always 13 o'clock on the moon. Duh." Somewhere in that 4-year-old little body, she is meant to have a future writing fantastical crazy books. I can't wait to read them. I feel that I am going to chalk today up as a win. Sitting here sipping on my soy vanilla chai latte, which I could only afford in a tall, I feel a little victory flowing through my veins. It may not seem like much, but I secured a second job working for slightly above minimum wage. All things considering, I am pretty grateful. I have submitted somewhere in the area of 22 applications/resumes (not a joke) and the only place to even give me an acknowledgement is JC Penney's. And that is only because they need seasonal help. Whatever. I will TAKE IT! My biggest problem now is that both of my jobs and my college are all in the same town... which is 45 minutes from where I actually live. That is how hard my hometown has been hit by the bad economy. You have to go way out of town to have any hope of finding a job even as unexceptional and low paying as retail. Did I really come back here? Today is also feeling especially sweet because I am seeing Mr. Cole this evening. *insert lame emicon smiley face or something*
