Well today is a very exciting day for me. I am beginning my half-marathon training program. I am a bit disappointed because the first 7 weeks actually are less miles than I usually run in a week. I am trying to look at it like it is good for my injury to slowly build. I am also getting agym pass to do strength training. I can't decide when to do it though. I am thinking April 1 will be good. This month is almost half over and they will still charge me a whole months fees to go. I have made up a new diet for my 13 week program. I love it. I am doing my diet, but this is the first time I have had a trainer. I have always done training programs alone or with a friend. How strange it is to have someone email me my schedule and tell me what to do every day of the week. I have a daily plan, but only meet with the traininer and the rest of the group 2-3 times a week at various locations throughout the city. I am so pumped! I took my weight and I am going to take my measurements this morning. I am worndering if there will be any big changes for me by the end of this. I don't have a lot of weight to lose per say, but I do need to tone and shape. I feel like I am "skinny-fat" and would love to change that.
