I do animal rescue... Right now all total we have 19 cats. 10 are kittens, 4 born about 3 weeks ago and 6 born 4 days ago. They will all be up for adoption when they are ready. That leaves 9! Sam was our first rescue. we went to the vet one day ( I had gotten a kitten ) and wile we were there this lady just left her kitten there. I mean LEFT!!! the vet tech was holding her and the lady just left. It was an all black kitten, he looked so sad but, he was so cute. they told me they were going to have to take him to the pound since they didn't have any room for him. so wile we had the vet look at our kitten we asked if he could e with us in the room to see if he got along with our new younger kitten. It was love at first sight! So, we took him home. That was the start of our animal rescue...Sam is about 3 years old now and weighs about 15 pounds, I call him my mini puma.

Then we rescue 2 feral kittens, one was sweet but the other was the devil. we worked with them and then found them a new home together. They are doing great and their new owners are very happy.

then a lady had a kitten that her cat stole! They had no idea where she came from, so hand fed her. They no longer could take care of the kitten so, we picked her up. Her name is jinx and she is a tux cat but very small, about 7 pounds. She is so odd loves people but hides from the other pets. we wound up keeping her cuz she was my little lap cat and is so sweet.

Then came cookie... she had od on dewormer and has mental issues. we had to feed her and make her drink poor thing couldn't even keep her head up. most animals die but, she was a tough cookie. we kept her as well.

then came Sookie the dog. she was a flood rescue for a huge flood we had here. we fixed her up and trained her. she was so sweet and cute. one day I entered her into a dog show for cancer. she won a ribbon. We found her a great home with a family that loves her so much.

Then one day my so calls and said he was bringing a cat home it needs food and a place to sleep. apparently someone threw this sweet hat out of a moving car. my so named him MIMI thinking it was a girl.... BOY... He is also a big boy 15 plus pounds. kept him as well.

then miss cookie got out side before I could take her in. 6 kittens! 4 girls 2 boys. everyone wanted the girls so they were all adopted. 2 were going to my so parents house to be mousers. that left 2 boys. My so fell in love with one he calls Sylvester, he is a tux. and I feel for the long haired grey tux with a pink nose and called him Cosmo.

Then one day at a friends house a small orange tabby came running up to me and playing with my feet. when I went to pet him I noticed a bad infected wound. I went all around looking for the owner. when I found a person who knew who the cat was, they told me that they didn't want it no more. I told them it was hurt and they didn't even care. so I asked if I could take him and find him a home, the lady said take him to the pound for all I care. because I felt like he would be a great addition to another persons home I named him 7 cuz he was the 7th cat. when he and the other boys were old enough I took them to get fixed. since I do rescue I get it done for 10 each! when I picked them up 7 was sick and I spent a lot of money on him, now he stays.

a couple of cats and dogs between and a squirrel.

then when we went to see my SO parent they decided to rv full time and gave us back the 2 because they knew we could find a good home. it was a busy time of the year being Xmas and traveling, and one we call Daphne got her self knocked up, by the same cat the cookie got knocked up.

you see I was going to take cookie with the other cats but she didn't come home, all but one cat are outside inside cats. Jinx has no desire to leave her home.

that leaves gracy the other one his parents left us.... she was cool till cookie had the baby's. now she wont leave cookies kittens but to eat and go to the potty. she wont let any of the other cats near cookies kittens and she washes them and hoards them. its funny to see to cats in a box with kittens. when you try to take her out she yells and runs back in. cookie doesn't seem to mind so we let it be.

but now that Daphne has had her kittens gracy is beating up all the male cats. she even got my puma scared of her. she chases him all over the house. its sad to she a huge cat being chased by a 6 pound little cat. they use to get along and sleep with each other. I think she has gone crazy!

kittens are so cute, I cant help kissing them 1000 times a day. I just hope that here in the few next weeks gracy calms down and starts being nice to the male cats.

weird thing is now gracy is starting to get milk glands, and trys to feed the kittens. even takes the same two and hides them in my kids closet... WEIRD!!!!
