Rudie likes to go at night
to the park where there's no light
removes her clothes and runs around
right there in her little town

Without her clothes she feels so free
forgets the world its travesties
feels the danger it's so scary
 dreams she is a soaring fairy

There she dances behind the trees
all alone no one to see
no more job or dues to pay
all the world just goes away

Morning light brings the day
back into the urban fray
remembering all her naked fun
her worldly burdens all undone
