Firstly, before anyone calls an animal protection society, no cats were harmed in the making of this entry. Nor is it some bizarre code phrase for any other domestic activity .It was in fact one of the more unusual requests from Beloved Spouse I have had, and thats just this week.

The cat has been part of the domestic household for years and in his twilight years he sometimes forgets to groom himself.   This means sometimes we have to groom him ourselves, not a problem in a cat friendly house.

Our OAP (Old Age Puss) seems quite happy being cared for by the domestic staff of his household, usually. I suggested that the existing dedicated cat brush rather than a crevice tool might be more appropriate.  The cat was blissfully unware of the question. It is however, one of those questions that makes a Lady wonder about her husband!

No matter how long A Lady has been married to A Gentleman does she really ever truly know him?

If he thinks that combining a cat with a vacuum cleaner is a smart move, does she ever want to know him that well?
