Playing Skyrim on Xbox and how to delete individua Monday, February 27, 2012

Does anyone Playing Skyrim on xbox know a way to delete individual saves such as when you want to delete Skyrim weapons you don’t need? Well I Just found a way to do that recently.

Well I think I figured it out! When playing Skyrim if you go to the load or save screen, then select a save and you will see the option at the bottom to delete the Skyrim saved data. I now do it regularly as there are far too many auto saves that get created. I play Skyrim on XBOX, so my next challenge was.... Are the transitions

through doorways, into or out of shops, etc, quick?

Skyrim Transition speeds

I used to play Skyrim on PS3 but spent a lot of time waiting for scene changes to occur. I don’t have the same problem playing Skyrim on XBOX, well so it seems.

Sony says it may have PS4 available sometime around the end of 2012? That's a

pretty bulls--- promise if I ever heard one. Given that Sony Corp is struggling

right now, they may never produce another PlayStation.

Is there anyone out there who plays on both platforms, XBOX and PS3)? Do you notice any difference between speeds when loading scene changes? When I played on PS3 and the load times between outside to inside doors (and vice versa) was horrible!. Gives me time to catch a nap, fold my laundry, changes the kitty litter, etc. Definitely kills the flow of the game.

So I've recently bought Skyrim Xbox version and hope to start on it soon and a completely different character class (I'm an Imperial now). Just found out you will be able to rate the speed of both machines! (Xbox & PS3) Neat. I will let you how the two consoles compare. I installed the game onto my XBOX so the transition times aren’t that long for me, about 5-10 seconds. takes about 15 or 20 seconds for me. On my Xbox, to open a door (usually from outside to indoors, or vice versa), it's exactly 60 seconds for me. I used a stopwatch - and I don't have OCD! Indoors, from one room to another it's almost instant. I’ve had it take that long sometimes, but its usually faster. On PS3, for me, going from OUTSIDE to INSIDE is around 30 seconds, to FAST

TRAVEL takes about 60 seconds. These times seem to be the norm.

My friend says his XBOX can do Skyrim transitions in 10 seconds or so. I want my friends console LOL.

It could be because I have it installed Skyrim that it goes faster, and I have the slim XBOX. Its slimness helps it run faster? Yeah, it’s more aerodynamic. hehe. Seriously though, the slim is upgraded from the original and as a result the processor is faster so it loads faster (for the most part) one problem I have is that I’m playing on a smaller screen than Skyrim was designed for, and stuff way up at the top or bottom doesn’t show. That may prevent me from deleting saves, but I’ll try it the next time i play. Don’t know why anyone would want to, actually. My new Skyrim character, Jiriel, is a Stormcloak, but I’m curious as to what happens if a character takes the imperial side.....
