The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experiences.
My favorite quote of all time. It's just so meaningful. What I got out of it was that don't hold back from better and challenging experiences. What's the worst that could happen? You fail. You're suppose to fail at some things in life. Otherwise how will you ever learn? That's right, you wouldn't. Also if you don't taste experience to the utmost, you'll never experience life itself.
One story I would like to share.. Recently, my boyfriend and I decided to move in together and now we are moving into an apartment soon. I'm ecstatic, anxious, nervous, and overwhelmed. Now, we both talked it over and made sure we could do it financially and mentally. We are still both young and in school. We both have decent paying jobs. We calculated everything. We figured out it was manageable. There's only one problem. People cutting us down. It's wierd because both our families are happy and excited for us. People I work with are not. They keep saying you need to look for cheaper, and you'll never be able to manage it. Questioning us about everything. First of all, is it any of their business? Absolutely not. Second of all, jealousy. We are doing better than them. Third of all, if we fail from this, won't we learn? It's all a learning experience for us. Of course, we don't want to fail but if it happens we are both going to be there for each other and grow from that experience.
Now, go out and live life how you want to live it and don't let anyone tell you differently.
