I've always been a God person. No one can't tell me God isn't real. I grew up in a very loose religious setting, where we went to church every now and again, but we prayed quite often, every day. I was taught my bible basics, and read mine several times cover to cover. As I got older, I grew curious as to why everything was taught in disjointed sections. I was clued in on how interpretation could be based on a simple punctuation placement, which varied in different bible versions. After stints in several different churches, some less holy than others, I could only focus on one conclusion - Religion is a business! In some instances, it couldn't be further away from God's teachings. How could I place my faith in the imperfect, very human hands of Man?? I don't think there's a sadder thing than to see the sense of loss that a whole congregation tends to experience under the downward spiral of a church leader. Just plain sad. So I've aspired to learn how to put my faith in the realm of God, his Son and Holy Spirits.
Gotta finish this post later. Ciao!
