Once you have selected your new name and password, you will see the Personal Profile screen. Please note that all of the information on this screen is optional, and does not have to be entered.
At the top of the screen, you may enter your sex and your birthdate. If these are selected, your sex and your age will be displayed at the top of each of your diary screens. They will also be displayed with your entry titles on the Recent Entries list, Reader's choice list, and diary indices.
Next you can enter location information – a location description, which will appear at the top of your diary pages, and a U.S. state or other country. The state or country will appear on the Recent Entries list, Reader’s Choice list, and diary indices, if you select them.
Finally, you may enter an e-mail address. While this is not required, it will be needed if you ever lose your password and want to have it mailed to you. We must have a valid e-mail address on file to send your password to.
When you are finished entering information on this screen, click the Continue button. This will take you to the Privacy Settings screen.
