Changing Your Front Page

The front page of your diary displays a table of contents of all your entries, and also gives you a space to post a description or other text and pictures that will help describe your diary to other people.  The front page is what another person will see, if they click on your name on a note or elsewhere on the site.

To change your front page, go to the Diary Maintenance menu by clicking "diary maintenance" under the diary menu.  On the Diary Maintenance menu, click on "Diary Front Page".

The screen will display the title of your diary, and also the text and pictures for your diary description.  Diary descriptions are limited to 8,000 characters, including any HTML you have in your description.  Diary titles are limited to thirty characters.

Unless you have turned it off in your Editor Settings, the WYSIWYG editor will be displayed for editing your diary description.  You can use the editor to enter text, images, or HTML into your description.

When you have finished making changes to your title and description, click the "Save" button.
