Theme of the Week
This week's topic is:
What is your greatest fear, and have you ever come close to having to face it? If so, how did you react? If not, how do you think would you react?
Writing an entry for the Theme of the Week is easy! First, write an entry in your diary like you normally would. Make sure that the entry follows the theme - entries that do not
follow the theme will have to be removed.
After you have your entry in your diary, come to this page and click the "submit a theme entry" link above. If you don't see the "Submit an Entry" link, it is because your diary is not
unlocked - you must first unlock your own diary before submitting a theme entry. After you click "submit a theme entry", the next screen will show you a list of your most recent diary entries. Select the
one that is the theme entry and click "Submit" - that's it!
The theme will be changed once a week. If you have a suggestion for a future theme, please feel free to post it on the OD Boards Theme Suggestions thread.

Biggest fear.
My biggest fear is probably a very common one.. its just being alone in the world. People i know keep dying. first in my life was my grandpa when i was like 2, which at the time didn't have a huge effect on me to say the least. But then my senior year of high school, 3 of my best friends died in septemeber, another friend of mine died in december, a close friend was then diagnosed with stomach...

TOW – biggest fear just came true
TOW – biggest fear just came true
Well one of my biggest fears was that what I write in my diary would someday come back to haunt me. Now it is doing that. A couple of people in my real life circle of friends have found it and aren’t necessarily happy with what I’ve written in the past.
I use this place to say things and work through them; sometimes they are...

Fear
I don't usually like to discuss my vulnerabilities, but it doesn't hurt to openly state them once in a while.
I used to be afraid of a lot of things: going blind, getting horribly mutilated, becoming infected with some disfiguring or terminal disease, having my parents die in a car crash, drowning, witnessing the end of the world and mankind, having a monster eat me alive or...

Theme Entry: Fear...
It was a sunny, beautiful, January day and my spirits were high. This would be a day to remember, and despite seeing fresh tracks of a mountain lion and evidence of a large pack of wolves in the canyon, I was mentally ready for the task. The night would be clear and cold, but it was the night of the full moon and with the moon as my companion, I knew I would be fine.
I didn’t bring a tent,...

Theme of the Week: Fear
What is your greatest fear, and have you ever come close to having to face it? If so, how did you react? If not, how do you think would you react?
My biggest fear is absolutely absurd considering where I live. I have a terrible, unrealistic fear of tornadoes. I can't watch movies with tornadoes, or the weather channel stories about tornadoes. If I see a tornado on TV, I change the channel...

My Biggest Fear
I have always been afraid of seeing death happen. People die, it's a normal part of life, but let it happen when I'm not there to see it. The first time I experienced the death of someone close to me, I was just barely seven. My three month old niece died from SIDS. I wasn't there when it happened, but I remember it. I religiously visit her grave on holiday's and on her birthday every year....

my greatest fear...
My greatest fear is dieing before I was meant to. Leaving my family with nothing and not seeing my children and grandchildren grow up. I fear being alone for the rest of my life and loosing the only person I truly love with all of my being.
My greatest fear isn't that my "Friends" stab me in the back, that's happened a lot in my life. I'm not afraid of being a single mom again, I did that for...

My first theme of the week.
Dear Grandma-
Somedays, I don't even think of you, not even once.
Somedays, I think of you, but its just a fleeting thought, as if I'm thinking about thinking about you.
Every once in a while, I really think about you.
I think about how before you had your dementia, I didn't really cherish all the moments we had together. I think...
