Theme of the Week

This week's topic is:

What was the hardest decision you ever had to make?

Writing an entry for the Theme of the Week is easy! First, write an entry in your diary like you normally would. Make sure that the entry follows the theme - entries that do not follow the theme will have to be removed.

After you have your entry in your diary, come to this page and click the "submit a theme entry" link above. If you don't see the "Submit an Entry" link, it is because your diary is not unlocked - you must first unlock your own diary before submitting a theme entry. After you click "submit a theme entry", the next screen will show you a list of your most recent diary entries. Select the one that is the theme entry and click "Submit" - that's it!

The theme will be changed once a week. If you have a suggestion for a future theme, please feel free to post it on the OD Boards Theme Suggestions thread.

Theme of the week: decisions - Morgan
What was the hardest decision you ever had to make? We had been talking for months, and the first time I saw him there were a trillion butterflies in my stomach.  How do I look?  Did I choose the right shirt? I briefly worried about whether I was pretty or not, and then I awkwardly wrapped my arms around his neck and gave him a greeting hug.  I didn't hold on for very long,...

Whether to keep trying or give up.
I was at a point where I told myself that I had to make a decision between the two in life. I could either keeping pushing life in what I wanted, when I didn't even know what I wanted, or just let go and let things work its self out. Knowing that they both had even number of negative and positive outcomes I took a chance and went with my gut feeling. I just let go. Let everything slip...

To Go or Stay- Theme of the Week
The hardest decision I've had to make...I had to think about this one.  Most of the biggest decisions in my life have been surprisingly easy.  My big "breaking free" moment when I was 18, where I dropped out of university (with plans of taking a different approach to education), broke up with my boyfriend, and moved to small hut in the mountains, was very easy. ...

Hardest Decision
We washed both the puppies earlier this week. Astro got so muddy he was black up his legs and belly. J tussled him into the bath, managed to get most of the dirt off and most of the shampoo out of his coat but then Astro refused to take anymore so he was dried off. I took Mouse into the shower as she loves the warm water running down her body. She got a little antsy when I had to shampoo her as...

Hardest Decision
What was the hardest decision you ever had to make? The hardest decision that I ever had to make, was to take the abuse from my father as a child. So, that he would not lose his job. So, that my mother and my siblings would not be alone. Without my father, they would not have had anything. I only held on because of my mom. I am so proud of myself for doing that. So, at the age of 17, I was...

the hardest thing (theme)
For the exam, my veins were injected with something to relax me. I was at the height of anxiety, but I decided to subject myself to that exam. For a thread of evidence, of course there was none since I had waited so long to even tell what happened. The injuries to my face could of been evidence enough but I couldn't tell then what had really happened. But eventually it all came out, and at...
