Open Diary Utilities
Tools to Make Your OD Life Easier

Diary Import Utility

The Diary Import Utility allows you to import the entries and notes from one diary (owned by you) into another diary (also owned by you). The combined entries will appear in the merged diary, which will retain the name and password of the diary that entries were imported into. Please note: the entries imported into your diary will appear at the beginning of your merged diary, and all other entries will be moved to the end (so your most recent entry will remain the most recent). The utility will not order imported diary entries with your other entries by date - all of the entries from the imported diary will be together, followed by all of the current entries from your diary.

WordWax

WordWax is a utility that allows you to write and post entries without logging into Open Diary. WordWax was not developed by us, and is in no way affiliated with Open Diary or our staff. However, many people have already found it to be a useful addition to their OD experience. You can find directions for downloading and using the program in the WordWax diary - the software was written by a member of Open Diary. An attorney would probably want us to make a disclaimer, something like this:

Open Diary is no way supports or endorses the use of the WordWax software. There is no warranty, express or implied, and Open Diary is not responsible for any loss of data or material resulting from the use of WordWax. Open Diary does not provide technical support for WordWax, and any questions regarding its use should be directed to the author of WordWax. Please take small children by the hand, and keep your arms and feet inside the ride vehicle until it comes to a complete stop.

I would like to make this page a repository (that's a funny word) for tools or utilities that you may have used in your diary and liked. Examples might be: visitor counters, graphics libraries, HTML tutorials, or other stuff that can be used to make a diary more effective or attractive. If you have one, please let me know about it.
