Well I sure do hope you ask for some compensation for the bull shit. I got 3 free months of DSL when they did that to me. It cant hurt to ask. Oh and Im surprised that they didnt give you complimentary dial-up. You should ask them about that as well.

I agree with silly sandee You need to be compensated for all the time they have taken. 3 free months sounds good to me.

Here’s hoping that the DSL gods will smile upon you this time, and may you get an installation technician who knows what the heck he’s doing! I agree with Sandee — grouse a litte and see if they will cough up some freebies.

Complain! Remember the old saying, “The squeaky wheel gets the grease!” It’s still much,much too hot here in KY (90’s), but I am looking forward to the cooler fall temperatures.

That’s a good point the first noter made – ask them for some free time for their mistake & inconvenience – I remember we did that with Tiscali when they cocked up our contract as well. You have more patience that I would have – I don’t think I’d be able to be civil to them by now!

Yeah, that’s a long time for no DSL. My cell phone’s Verizon–is it an evil company? I like the Spic n Span tip. Are you going to Italy? Or do you just love the language? Vermont–a beautiful state.

Yes, your noter is right! Demand some free time from DSL. My daughter has found this kind of thing works beautifully, and they owe you. What nonsense they have put you through.
