Calling Any Sims Addicts.

You know, it’s my computer luck lately. I was going to try reinstalling all of my Sims and the expansions, but the base won’t install. Nope. Won’t. So much for my plans for trying to save my old data.

But you know what? This isn’t over.

I know there’s Sims addicts who read me. Some of you HAVE to still have it installed. I have my old ‘installation’ still, but I’m betting all I need is the registry keys. I don’t see any old-fashioned .reg files on the CDs, so I was wondering if anybody could lend me their registry keys.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

Go into regedit.
Bring up HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMaxis
GOTO export.. and save it
Send the contents to me and let me see if I can make it work for me.

That’s all. C`mon, people, don’t fail me now.

I can’t help you… but I miss the SIMS so much. Where can I get a free download? I have no idea. If you help me, I’ll make a girlfriend for your Sim. We’ll have sex all the time. I swear.

Never played it, but it looks SO fun! Is there somewhere I can play/download/whatever it for free? Because really, I’m all about the FREE.

Dude, you have to clear your registry to re-install the old one.
