All macros…?

I personally give myself credit for trying to catch these bees on the flowers…and they were more interested in them than in me, so it worked out pretty well.  (things that sting, like, frighten me.  Not that I’d ever, like, admit that ya know.  Kinda unmanly or sumthin…)

Anyway, here’s a couple more shots taken with my digi-cam, a Nikon Coolpix 2200:

i swear the bee moved just as the camera took the pic- it really was there!

the tiger lily did not move, so it made for a better subject than the bees did.

Next up, a series of vanity pics- standby please.

I love your macro shots…the one of the lily looks so 3-D it could be carved out of wax. So you used your flash on a few of these to increase the shutter speed, huh? I’m just learning that trick.

RYN: No…Mao wasn’t a nice guy but he’s included because it’s audacious to consider him in the list in the first place. Just my twisted sense of humour working.

RYN: Actually, not Moa but Mao! You are too funny.

Wow, those are wonderful pictures! I love bees and butterflies, and can rarely get one to stay still long enough for me to snap a great photo. (Yea…I AM pretty slow….) Thanks for sharing these! hugs, Weesprite

I was really hoping maybe you’d be at the OD barbecue, even though I know that getting up to Seattle would have been cost prohibitive for you…. I am sure there will be other gatherings and I hope you will be there!

very nice!
