How it looks tonight -after a phone call

My fellow bus drivers are some good people.  It turns out that many live nearby, and so I put up a note in the driver’s room re car pooling.  They are all pretty "nice" people, so maybe what they say is true, that school bus drivers are special people.

One driver, who lives not so far away, followed me home tonight to see If I got here alright.  It turns out that she is from New Orleans, and moved here after Hurricane Katrina.  She stayed through the storm, and her description was enough for me – don’t wanna experience it myself.

The (papers) boss called me this evening, and suggested that maybe I could do two weeknights and the weekends, thus getting a few nights a week off, for a good sleep before the bus routes.  I am thinking about it quite seriously.  Dropping the papers entirely will put me back into the poor house… and I’m ready to get out of that place.

Things will work out, and damn near the way I want them to, if I have any say in it.

( and the SS thing is about due – ’tis with the Ninth Curcuit Court of Appeals.  Probably the last step.  I want that to work out too…but, it is mostly out of my hands)

^,,^

After the phone call

K* called me from Japan – she’d gotten my email and knew I was still awake.  After a long talk sorting the details out, she’s helped me to plan the next moves -what to spend my meager resources on and a little from her to help me out.  Fortunately, she thinks well of my van, which, all things considered hasn’t been that bad of a used vehicle.  It is not a Volvo, the significance of which I’ve been meaning to write, here.

Another time for that – now it’s nap time before the Wednesday papers come out – in a better frame of mind.

I told you the Cat always lands on his feet…;)

That old adage…. where there’s a will, there’s a way…. really is true. It might take a little help from our friends…. and that means reaching out to our friends and letting them know we need them… but sounds like you’re doing that. And things will fall into place.

It will work out. You’ll find a way. when I panicked about the vet bill and money for awhile, I decided to not let myself worry about the money, and so replaced any thoughts/worries/fears about money as quickly as I could with relaxing images. I told myself I’d find a way, I’d figure it out. Then I got the great idea of becoming a cat sitter. Just thinking about it raises my energy and Iget excited. 🙂 ideas/solutions/hope come like that, methinks. when we are relaxed and not stressing about money.
