Multnomah Falls, edited 1 12-08

Ha!  I knew if I searched both hard drives I’d find the pics I uploaded and edited.

Outside, right now, fat snowflakes are falling steadily, slowly, methodically.  The cars hiss by on 17th because it rained as the air warmed above us, but it is solid snow falling now.  Looking down into the parking lot, the lines are fading and cars getting softer as the snow piles up on them.  I see I remembered to pull my windshield wipers off the glass.

Needless to say, this is the fourth snowday we’ve had this week.  I don’t think any of us mind a third week off for Winter Break.

I had some insight into why my printer says it has a paper jam with this HP photopaper I’m using; it’s too thick.  I bought premium paper for the prints I was going to make for presents, and maybe it’s too thick for the printer.

Jeeez.  The snowflakes are getting fatter.  We’re nearing whiteout conditions here.

Maybe I’ll get different photo paper tomorrow.

I end up having to use the same words over and over–stunning, beautiful, magnificent, etc. Though they have become cliche at this point, they are all so very true. You have a wonderful gift, m’friend, for capturing nature at her most ultimate moments. When you come back from your trip to California, and things settle down, I would like to talk to you about buying a print or two or five. 🙂

Wow those are amazing! I think I have seen fat snowflakes maybe 3 times in my whole life – they are a RARE thing here.
