No School Monday

I really like working for a school district – tomorrow is Martin Luther King’s Birthday and we have it off.  Of course, this year, it’s an extra special day because Barack Obama is to be inauguated as the 44th President of the United States the next day.

For my day off though, Monacita and I and a friend of hers are going to the Columbia Gorge, to Bridal Veil Falls. to take a "few" pictures.  We’re meeting up in Gresham and cruising out to the Gorge in my car.  The weather looks to be bright and sunny, but cold and windy – almost perfect for taking pictures and hiking in to see the Falls.  Bridal Veil Falls is a nice place, but Multnomah Falls gets the lion’s share of the visitors, so we should have the falls virtually to ourselves.

It will be a good day.
