picking thru that PB file
I think these pictures that I have uploaded to Photobucket lately are pretty good.
One my friend took in Westmoreland Park:

In March, just before all the blooms burst forth on these trees.

*
I took this one with my friend’s camera:

At full size, this is awful purty.
*
*
*
The vapor blown out of the holes in the rocks catches the sunlight:

But, ya know, there’s just nothing like being there – it was pretty darn scenic in person.

My shot of the same thing:

T’was a good day on the coast:

*
*
*

*
*
*

But, someone told me, there are no bad days on the coast.
*
*
*
I don’t think there are any bad days in the Gorge either:

Benson Bridge, between the upper and lower Multnomah Falls.
*
*
*
No, no bad days in the Columbia Gorge…

Crater Lake, southern Oregon:

Framed in a blond wood wood frame, on a matte, this 8.5 x11 picture looks very good at my friend’s house
*
*
*
Some pictures on my camera are just mistakes:

Yeah, I didn’t MEAN to take this picture, but I kinda like the way it turned out.
(that’s my car, by the way)
*
*
*
It’s less than two hour’s drive away…

The full-size recreation of Stonehenge III, in Maryhill, Washington.

*
*
Ya know, I’d a never thought about making a purse out of a gourd…

But someone at the Portland Saturday Market did, and my friend from Japan took it home with her.
It was, she said, a real conversation starter in Japan, beginning at Customs there.

Life is a state of mind;

and it’s all in how you look at it.
