This would be the Feast part

 Huzzah!

Full employment on the last week of October and regularly scheduled after that.  32 hours this week and as yet unknown hours between now and the last week of the month.

I will be – and am, now – a "productive member of society".

Not that I really cared all that much about that, but money is nice to have to give away to get and keep the things I want and or need.

Working out in Corbett, on the road to Women’s Forum overlook, means a 54 mile round trip, a 35 to 60 minute drive, depending on traffic and weather.

I’ll rack up mileage on my black beauty quickly – good thing it’s a "new" car.

(well, it is not "new", it is over 4 years old, but I bought it new and am "the original owner")

I’ll be able to keep my car, which is THE CAR I want.

This is important to me.  To be able to come and go as I please, to go most anywhere a car can go, to be able to get to my job and to KEEP my car – these things are very important to me.

It’s looking like I will be able to do those things, AND feel useful.

It took a long time to get "here", but here I am, and I am very grateful for the help I’ve been given, here and by K*, my former wife and (it looks like) forever friend.  I couldn’t have done it without you.  And you, and you and you and everyone who has had faith that their help wasn’t wasted.

By the way, calls are coming in – "can you work such and such at so and so place?" and I’m turning down work because I’m already busy.

The fruit of this crop was a long time coming, but it’s sweet and filling and will keep me going… Onwards.
