Socktopus will haunt your dreams

You know what I really like? Minty candy. You know what I don’t like? The feeling after eating too much minty candy. And yet…. yumyum.

This afternoon I had a feeling there was a package at the post office, even though we weren’t expecting one. I was right! There was a package from the lovely [midnight radio]! A bunch of random things that included minty candy and… a sock octopus.

Very amusing and awesome… but at the same time, every time I walk into this room I get freaked out due to the weird thing staring at me. I have to find a better home for our socktopus, somewhere more permanent. He can’t stay sitting at the dining table forever… can it?

We made ‘fajitas’ today. They were so far from fajitas, but eh. Still tasty. Way too much onion though, it was everywhere! I cheated (I’m very sensitive when it comes to cutting onions, I cannot do it) and used the food processor so the whole thing was very fine and… everywhere. Made the chicken look fuzzy in fact. Very weird. Would’ve been tasty if it wasn’t for so much onion.

Tonight’s movie was "Quarantine". I was amused/irritated that I knew how it was going to end from rather early on, because the very last scene was on every ad for the movie when it was coming out! Was still rather creepy and such, so that’s a good thing. Now I want Dexter season 3 to be on dvd already. Yargh.
