Bush on Darfur (*edit*)

BBC America interviewed Bush himself, and I think they’ll be showing the interview on their evening broadcast tonite (cable channel BBCA).  I think it runs at like 7 pm East coast time.

Check out this excerpt from the Watch link here

Note Bush’s facial expression.  The reporter is asking about military intervention in Darfur to stop genocide, and Bush is smiling!!!  He’s responding like we’re discussing who’s job it was to put up the streamers at the kiddie’s birthday party!   What normal person can smile while talking about "why I decided to let others stop the killings" (my quotes, he didn’t actually say that.)   The full version of the interview will be posted to the same website later tonite.

What sort of morals does this man have (or rather, not have)?  The kind of "Compassionate Conservatism" (remember? that was his phrase in the first election) that says "gee, this is so sad" when they cut funding and kids starve.  They say they feel compassion as the ill effects of their decisions are felt by others (but not them).

May this man and his cronies live in infamy.

Edit:  it took me 3 tries to save this entry.  Something is still not right in OD-Server-Land….

One of the first think that irritated me about Bush was the out of context smirk.

He’s probably imagining that Dafur is a small, lemur like animal. Seriously though, it looks like he’s lost all concept of what facial expression is right for what. Lots of hugs, John

You’re right, OD is still acting up.

he’s probably smiling cos he has no clue what he’s talking about and his handlers told him to be upbeat or something. no brain that guy.. xxx

I have never been able to look at this man. For 8 years now, I’ve been changing the channel to avoid having to look and worry that such a brainless wonder was running our country.
